Rachel Kushner

ND, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Kushner is a licensed naturopathic physician and a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She is trained as a family medicine doctor who has expertise in natural therapeutics. Prior to joining Carolina Partners she worked at a wellness center in New York City and at Hewlett Medical Practice in Long Island, New York where she specialized in effectively healing depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, and lifestyle diseases utilizing homeopathy and nutrition.

Dr. Kushner received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and earned her naturopathic medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona. As part of her medical education, Dr. Kushner completed a comprehensive two year clinical internship at the SCNM Medical Center. While there, she treated everyone from pediatric to elderly patients for a variety of health concerns including but not limited to thyroid disease, auto-immune disease, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disease, allergies, diabetes, asthma, women's health, mental health, and skin conditions.

Dr. Kushner believes in addressing the underlying cause of disease and not just treating symptoms. She combines the latest scientific information along with natural therapeutics that have been used effectively for centuries in order to provide individualized treatment plans for all of her patients. Dr. Kushner utilizes nutrition, supplements, homeopathy, botanical medicine, specialty testing, and various other techniques to effectively heal her patient's physical and mental health concerns. 

Dr. Kushner's objective is to compassionately guide her patients on their path to health so they are able to live life to the fullest.
