Phyllis Armstead

MD, Doctor of Medicine, Psychiatrist, joined Carolina Partners in 2015. She earned her MD from Hahemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and completed her residency and fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Armstead has been practicing for over 20 years and has been collaborating with other physicians in several research projects involving psychopharmacology. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and has previously worked as Medical Director at Continuum Care Services and Positive Progress Services located in North Carolina. Dr. Armstead treats ages 15 and up in our Cary, NC office where she specializes in medication management for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychosis.
