Denisse Ambler

MD, Doctor of Medicine, joined Carolina Partners in 2014. She earned her MD at Louisiana State University, then completed her Psychiatric Residency and C/A Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Ambler has previously served in the US Army Reserves, worked as a staff psychiatrist at North Carolina Neuropsychiatry, and is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and has participated in several publications including an article in the American Journal of Psychiatry. Dr. Ambler is also currently a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Medical Association. She treats ages 5-65 in our Cary, NC office, where she specializes in medication management for developmental disabilities, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.
