Amparo Penny MA, LPC, Master of Arts, Licensed Professional Counselor, joined Carolina Partners in 2010. Ms. Penny earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from N.C. State University and her Master's of Arts in Counseling degree Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University. She has previously worked as a counselor for Triumph, LLC, Wake County Human Services, Easter Seals UCP and Holly Hill Hospital, and in private practice. Ms. Penny specializes in family therapy, couples therapy, individual therapy, DBT and mood disorders using a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy and Rogerian Therapy. She treats ages 8 through 65 in our Raleigh, NC office. |
