Why did you choose mental health care as a career path?
“I remember a summer job at a VA hospital during my college years that really sealed my desire to become a psychologist. I was impacted by seeing the struggle of individuals with mental health problems, both emotionally from their pain as well as with some curiosity as to the causes and treatments for their illnesses. Treatment options have markedly advanced in the more than 40 years since, but the pain of mental illness continues and still drives my desire to play a part in providing help for those in need.”
“It’s always helpful due to a caring doctor whom I feel very comfortable with. Dr. Marsh is wonderful.” ~ Martha
