I believe that storytelling, deep human connection, and care of the self are necessary tools for growth and transformation.
It is an honor to bear witness to human stories as I join clients on their paths to healing and wholeness. I believe in the unbelievable capacity for resiliency and joy that all human beings possess.
In my practice, I seek to affirm all people’s identities, and to promote the flourishing of LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, people with disabilities, people of marginalized faith traditions — all people whose identities or bodies are oppressed.
As a student and emerging clinical social worker, I am interested in the complex and beautiful lives of LGBTQ+ people and people with disabilities, mindfulness-based therapies, narrative, biblio- and poetry therapy, burnout, secondary and vicarious trauma, as well as the education of social workers.
I currently practice at the Catalyst Somatics and Psychotherapy location of Carolina Partners in Mental HealthCare, PLLC where I receive clinical supervision from J. Louise Newton, MSW, LCSW, SEP, and am credentialed to provide free psychotherapy on site.
