LGBTQIAA Affirmative Therapy

The term “LGBTQIAA” is commonly used as shorthand for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual, ally community. It is important to note that while these groups may share some similarities, they are by no means identical in terms of their mental health issues, concerns, or needs. It is important to find a provider that best suits your individual needs. The LGBTQIAA community faces unique risks to their mental health and well-being due to the long history of societal stigma, prejudice and discrimination. Below are our providers familiar with LGBTQIAA Affirmative Therapy.

Carolina Partners is happy to provide affirming, affordable health care resources for LGBTQIAA members of our community through the Gender and Sexuality Diversity Initiative (GSDI). It is our absolute priority to provide specialized care for a range of communities, especially those that have been traditionally marginalized. The GSD Initiative will provide comprehensive health and wellness services for the LGBTQIAA communities throughout North Carolina.
