Rebecca Hartman

MSW, LCSW, LCAS, CCS, Master of Social Work, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Certified Clinical Supervisor.
Mrs. Hartman graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a specialty in child, adolescent and adult mental health and addictions. After graduation she volunteered with the Children, Youth and Families Program for three years in the United States Peace Corps in Costa Rica. Mrs. Hartman has worked in the mental health and addictions field for over 15 years. Her background and expertise in the therapeutic sector is broad, and ranges from therapeutic residential communities, inpatient psychiatric hospitals to outpatient mental health and addiction clinics.

Mrs. Hartman’s work as a psychotherapist is with ages 8 through adult at our Cary, NC office where she specializes in trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, addictions and relationship issues. Modalities include individual, couples and family counseling.

Mrs. Hartman strives to facilitate increased self-awareness and personal growth in a person centered therapeutic process. She is committed to attentive listening and positive reflection in therapy sessions. Mrs. Hartman enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering at her church, scrapbooking and camping.
