Vivian Buhrman

MSW, LCSW, Master of Social Work and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has been with Carolina Partners since 2003. She earned a BA in Psychology from Duke University and a MSW from Washington University. Ms. Buhrman has been on the board of directors for the Rape Crisis Center. She has also been published in The UNC Press and Women in Sociology Publishing Newsletter. Her previous work history includes Person Counseling Center, Lutheran Family and Children's Services, and Duke University Women's Studies Program. Vivian Buhrman is currently the managing partner of Carolina Partners Counseling Center in Durham, NC, where she specializes in individual and family counseling, mood disorders, anxiety issues, trauma issues, sexual abuse, family violence, grief/ bereavement issues and crisis response.
