Vanessa Curry MSN, PMHNP-BC, Masters of Science in Nursing, Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, joined Carolina Partners in 2009. Ms. Curry earned her BS in Aerospace studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with minors in Psychology, Humanities and Aviation Safety. She earned her AAS in Nursing from Yavapai Community College in Arizona, her Masters of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and is currently completing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University. Ms. Curry has previously worked as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Southwest Counseling Center in New Mexico, Value Options, Arizona State Hospital, Superstition Mountain Mental Health Center, and as a Registered Nurse at Banner Behavioral Health in Arizona. She is board certified by the ANCC, and she is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the Aigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, and the International Society for Psychiatric Nurses. Ms. Curry has been published in the Journal of Mental Health and Aging. She treats all ages in our Raleigh Annex location, where she specializes in depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders and PTSD. |
