Dena Armstrong Dena Armstrong, MD, Doctor of Medicine, joined Carolina Partners in 2008. She earned her BS with honors from North Carolina A&T State University, and her MD from Eastern Carolina University School of Medicine. Dr. Armstrong has been in private practice in Charleston, S.C., and has worked with the University of Virginia Department of Endocrinology, and The Women's Place as a child birth educator. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the National Medical Association. Dr. Armstrong received a Certificate of Appreciation for Exceptional Patient Care from the Medical University of South Carolina, has given presentations on one of her specialties, Alzheimer's disease, and has been published in The Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry and Neurology. She practices in our Chapel Hill, NC office, and specializes in medication management, depression, anxiety, and psycho-dynamic therapy for adolescents and adults. |
