• Steven Vas, MD
  MD, Doctor of Medicine, joined Carolina Partners in 2009. He earned his AB from Vassar College in New York, did post baccalaureate premedical studies at Columbia University and completed his MD at Pittsburgh School of Medicine.  Dr. Vas recently completed his residency at Duke University School of Medicine where he was Chief Resident of Duke Psychiatry Inpatient Service at the William's Ward.  At the University of Pittsburgh Dr. Vas received a grant from the NIMH fellowship to do research in geriatric psychiatry.  He has also done work with local substance abuse programs in addiction psychiatry.  Dr. Vas is currently treating adults in our Cary, NC office, where he specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought and cognitive disorders and trauma.
